Blue corn tortilla recipe

Mr Foodie makes these all the time for all the tacos we eat… This recipe makes 4 tortillas.

Ingredients:
  • 100 grams masa
  • 130 ml cold water
  • 6 grinds of salt
Instructions:
  1. add water to mass and knead for 5 mins
  2. roll into ball and let rest 10 mins
  3. divide dough into 4 balls
  4. line tortilla press with plastic wrap and press 1 ball into a flat disc
  5. place in pre-heated pan (medium-high)
  6. cook for 40 seconds and flip
  7. cook for another 40 seconds and flip
  8. press firmly in middle so that the tortilla puffs up
  9. cook for another 40 seconds
  10. remove from pan and wrap in a clean tea towel
